Vocal performance

Singing experience

I studied music at Newcastle University, vocal performance at the Conservatorio Arrigo Boito di Parma, Italy and trained at Morley Opera school.

I was part of the National Youth Choirs of Great Britain and their chamber choir throughout my school and university years. I've sung at the BBC proms under Gustavo Dudamel and Vasily Petrenko, with many different choirs for various occasions including weddings, funerals and events and have even had the great pleasure of singing backing vocals for Ralph McTell and friends.

My passions have shifted from choral music to opera and solo work over the past decade. Most enjoyable recent experiences include:  soloist for St Cecilia Chorus' Bach Magnificat, Caccini's Euridice (title role) for Ensemble OrQuesta, Mercedes (Carmen) for New London Opera Group, Chorus in Merry Widow, Barber of Seville, Magic Flute and Cav & Pag for various opera companies around Surrey and London.
