Using music as a powerful tool for health, connection and personal growth.
My singing for wellbeing journey began in 2014 with Tenovus Cancer Care, where I launched and managed four choirs across Surrey, Sussex and London for people affected by cancer. This experience sparked my passion for using a simple intervention like music for supporting mental and physical wellbeing across communities.
In 2021, I founded Sing out Sutton, a charity promoting free access to singing for wellbeing to combat loneliness, foster social inclusion and improve physical health through structured singing programmes.
Sing out Sutton's impact
Since 2021 I have been delivering transformative singing for wellbeing programmes at The Royal Marsden Hospital and Chelsea and Westminster Hospital. These programmes provide a supportive outlet for both patients and healthcare staff.
The impact
I specialise in helping groups and organisations bring the transformative power of music into their communities. With a track record of growing participation and establishing new schemes, I'm committed to making singing accessible and beneficial for a wide array of groups.
